One of my passions has always been to travel. I got my first passport at age 15 when I went to France with my school. My mom, who is Canadian, introduced me to international travel every year since I was a baby, we would travel from Utah to Alberta. For years, I traveled to different ski areas in multiple countries to immerse myself in mountain fresh air. I’ve traveled all over the world and find that it is one of the best ways to shake up your stagnation, get out of your comfort zone and revel in a sensory experience. The problem I have found is that most tours are not geared for spiritual awakening. They tend to focus on food and activities. While this is great and definitely part of travel, I find that if you bring your spiritual practices into your travel, you can elevate yourself in ways that is hard to do by staying at home. And you can ramp it up even more in a group.
